The Eastern Marshes are the farthest East anyone from the Empire, in fact anyone at all has explored. This area is significantly closer to sea level than the rest of the continent and this resulted in the now prominent marshes and swamps the make up most of the usable land. Though to counter the water, this area also has large amounts of volcanic activity, centered around "The Great Volcano" which is also the Industrial Goblin capital. Fortunately this giant volcano is now extinct, yet its towering cone stands as a reminder to the destruction it may have once caused.
