Terivetol/Escopies

Escopies are large, centepede-like creatures that can grow up to a foot long. While considered gross in human cultures, Nachturas eat them as a primary food source. Escopies commonly burrow into the ground to catch prey above ground. Taking Escopies out of their burrow in Nachtura cultures is called "burrowpicking". The blood of an Escopie blended with the hair of a Cattiada is said to be the only way to scare away a Paisigem.
